On Tiptoes · De Puntitas is an illustrated storybook featuring the life of Sasha De Sola, prima ballerina of the San Francisco Ballet, and her journey to becoming a top dancer. Turn the book over and a fictional story of a young boy wanting to pursue dance, inspired by Sasha, is also within the pages. Written bilingually by Mexican author, C.V. Monterrubio, we invite you to listen to her reading of On Tiptoes ·De Puntitas followed by a talk with the author and an opportunity to ask questions about what inspired her to write the story.

C.V. Monterrubio is a children's book writer. She lives in a bilingual home in the SF Bay Area with her husband and dog.
