A visual presentation of Cuban posters and their relationships to Bay Area poster aesthetics, political connections, history and cultural links.

Lincoln Cushing was born in Cuba to American parents before emigrating to the US. As a graphic designer and archivist, he has worked with the Cuban national library, the University of California at Berkeley and other collections to preserve and catalog these amazing posters. Cushing is committed to documenting, cataloging and disseminating socially and politically significant graphic material which otherwise might be left behind in the digital revolution.
