Nathan Wirth speaks on nature photography and on his latest collaboration with Peter Weltner, A Slice of Silence. Nathan Wirth discusses his landscape photography of the West Coast and reads poems by his collaborator Peter Weltner, poems that share similar concerns about imagery and language. A brief Q & A follows the presentation.

Nathan Wirth was born and raised in San Francisco. A resident of Marin County for the past eleven years, Nathan Wirth attempts to photograph silence. His recent book A Slice of Silence, published by Chin Music Press in Seattle, is a collection of his photographs intermingled with poetry and essays.
