In a city that (almost) never sleeps, where mist and precipitation might roll in at any moment, it’s important to feel confident riding in any condition. This class, designed for intermediate riders who feel comfortable navigating urban streets, will teach you how to be prepared for whatever comes our way. How do you keep yourself safe? What equipment do you need? Are there any cheaper ways to deal with these conditions? How do you keep your bike running optimally? These questions and more are addressed in this classroom class.

You’ll also learn one of the most fundamental elements of bike maintenance: cleaning and lubing your chain. This is especially important in foul weather, to keep your drive train running smoothly.

Pluswe’ll be giving away prizes to keep you safely biking in all conditions.

No bicycle is necessary for this class. Please contact Eliana Marcus-Tyler (eliana@sfbike.org) with any questions about this program.

Please register for this class at: https://sfbike.org/event/night-and-all-weather-biking-class-3/
