Pauline Maccay demonstrates how she makes her Kamayan pin. Kamayan is a communal-style feast served on banana leaves and traditionally eaten with your hands. Kamayan means “by hand” in Tagalog.

Handmade by Pmaccay is a funky chic clay jewelry brand based in the Bay Area. The designs are lightweight and made of polymer clay, pressed flowers, and brass accents. Pauline Maccay is a Filipinx American maker and designer and her goal is to make large statement jewelry for everyone. A portion of the proceeds from every purchase is donated to local nonprofits who need the most help in her community.
