DESCRIPTION:<p>San Francisco Public Library provides access to numerous databases helpful for genealogical research. Brian Weaver, the Main Library's genealogy point person, will provide an overview of these resources and how to access them.</p><p>Brian Weaver is the 3rd Floor Manager at SFPL's Main Library. He is also the self-appointed genealogy "point person" at the Main Library and regularly assists patrons with their genealogical research.</p><p>This program is part of the Genealogy and Family History Symposium 2026, a two-day conference presented by the San Francisco Public Library (SFPL) and the <a href="https://www.californiaancestors.org/">California Genealogical Society</a> (CGS), featuring speakers from SFPL, CGS, the <a href="https://www.familysearch.org/en/centers/oakland_california">Oakland FamilySearch Center</a>, <a href="https://www.sfgenealogy.org/">SFgenealogy</a> and other organizations presenting on a wide range of topics.</p><p>See the full two-day schedule.</p>
