<p><strong>Kaylani Juanita</strong> Summer Stride artist, is a Bay Area native and winner of the 2021 Coretta Scott King Illustrator Honor. She illustrates inclusive picture books, editorial art and afros.</p>

<p><strong>Lisa Brown </strong>is a <em>New York Times</em> bestselling and award winning illustrator, author and cartoonist. She is married to the novelist<a href="https://www.danielhandler.com/"> Daniel Handler</a> and lives with him and their teenage son in San Francisco, where she teaches in the illustration department of the<a href="https://www.cca.edu/"> California College of the Arts</a>.</p>
