DESCRIPTION:<p>Remembered Light is a collection of 25 art pieces using glass shards collected from bombed-out European cathedrals, synagogues, and chapels during World War II by the late Frederick McDonald. The pieces are currently on exhibition at the San Francisco War Memorial Veteran's Building.</p>

<p>In honor of Veteran's Day, Friends of the San Francisco Public Library will host a discussion and history lecture about these art pieces&nbsp;with the San Francisco State University History Department.</p>
