DESCRIPTION:<p>Celebrate VIVA and create your own colorful alebrije with visiting Mexican artist Gustavo Mora Perez.</p><p>Alebrijes are popular handicrafts from Mexico, originally created by artisan Pedro Linares using cardboard and glue. Alebrijes are representations of fantastical animals, painted in vibrant colors by hand.&nbsp;<br>In this workshop, participants will experiment with tinwork on foil, creating shapes by embossing and adding color, to make a variety of images inspired by Mexican alebrijes.<br>&nbsp;</p><p>For ages 8–18.</p>
