<p>Matt Villano likes to say he's never had a real job; he's been a full-time freelance writer since 1997. Villano started writing about travel in 2003. Since then he's focused on adventure travel, family travel, sustainable travel and Las Vegas, which he considers to be one of his beats. Today the father of three does mostly travel and science writing; he's the managing editor of BrainWise, a zine from the National Academy of Neuropsychology.
