SUMMARY:Workshop: Safety on the Street
DESCRIPTION:<p>The Community Youth Center (CYC) of San Francisco will present a one hour course on how to protect yourself and intervene safely as a bystander.</p>

<p>The Coalition for Community Safety and Justice Program will introduce the training with the following objectives:</p>

<p>1. Avoid becoming victims on the street and public transportation</p>

<p>2. Protect yourself in threatening situations (de-escalation skills)</p>

<p>3. Intervene effectively as a bystander without compromising your safety</p>

<p>At the end of the training, participants will recieve a fanny pack with small safety gifts inside.&nbsp;</p>
