Learn basic storytelling techniques and discover your authentic voice in this interactive workshop series. Personal, ageless, inclusive—the art of traditional storytelling is for everyone.

In this session we will be crafting our family folklore.  Family stories directly impact how we see ourselves because they give us an idea of where we come from and where we're going.  Like the pieces in a multi-colored, homemade quilt, our family stories are a combination of the cultures, histories, and traditions we've inherited. And just like an embracing quilt, our family stories bring us comfort.

Workshop participants are invited to share their stories at our Workshop Participants’ Showcase on Saturday, May 18, 2024.

Registration required.  Call 415-355-2886 to register for one workshop or the whole series.

Presented by Kate Farrell, author, librarian, founder of the Word Weaving Storytelling Project.
