Join San Francisco Ballet School Faculty Cecelia Beam and Piano Supervisor Jamie Narushchen with Founder of the LEAP Program at Saint Mary's College and Dance Educator Claire Sheridan in a Nutcracker inspired Chair Dance Class with live accompaniment followed by a 30 minute discussion about San Francisco Ballet’s long history of performing the Nutcracker. 

The dance class is done entirely in a chair and suitable for all abilities and ages. Wear loose and comfortable clothing. 

The American holiday tradition of Nutcracker performances started here in San Francisco in 1944. This December San Francisco Ballet celebrates 76 years of the Nutcracker with a digital production, featuring an HD capture from 2007 and an interactive Opera House experience. The production will be available November 27–December 31.
