Explore the tasty origins and diversity of hot chocolate throughout Latin America and by people with Latin American heritage in the U.S. Not all hot chocolate is created equal, made the same, or enjoyed the same way. Bring your favorite version of hot chocolate and what you like to have with it to this “virtual” tasting. Hosted by SFPL staff Joanna Arteaga La Spina and special guests. For youth ages 10 and older.   

 

About the Presenter: About Joanna Arteaga La Spina was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia by American and Colombian families. She has lived in SF since 1996, where she attended City College of San Francisco, San Francisco State University, and San Jose State University. She currently works as the Spanish Translations Coordinator at SFPL. She loves sharing the diversity and richness of Latin American heritage through word, food, dance, and more.
