Evelyn “Tracy” Williams is a professional self-taught mixed-media artist who specializes in graphic recording, public mural art, art workshops, illustration and acrylic in Oakland, California. Her interest in public art was molded during her early childhood years on family outings to downtown Los Angeles.

Currently serving on the Bay Area Mural Program board as the “Special Events Coordinator” Williams hosts monthly literacy and arts events for non-profit organization, IKUNA in Oakland, Ca. Tracy is committed to culture, community and children. Williams ranks as champion of the 2021 Art Clash Competition in Oakland, California and is featured in multiple newspaper articles serving the Bay Area, such as The Bold Italic, East Bay Express and 48 hills. As one of the few leading female Polynesian artists in the Bay Area, she hopes to open doors of art opportunities for the next generation. She quotes, “As a child, I didn’t see any Pasifika artists or Oceanic artwork in galleries and museums. However, pacific island kids in Oakland and the Bay Area won’t have that issue. I’m already opening those doors up for them.”
