Join us for an engrossing talk and question/answer session with Yang Huang, discussing her most recent, award-winning novel MY GOOD SON. The San Francisco Chronicle wrote that MY GOOD SON is about "parental love...and the radical act of writing about ordinary life," and in their review The New York Times notes Huang's ability to realistically render"the generational push-pull of family life." MY GOOD SON won the gold medals for Nautilus, IPPY (LGBTQ+ Fiction), and IBPA Benjamin Franklin Book Awards (Fiction, LGBTQ+), and is a Lambda Literary Awards Finalist (Gay Fiction). It has a strong LGBTQ+ focus, with a heartfelt and humorous coming out story that changes everyone. 

Yang Huang previously spoke at the San Francisco Main Library about her award-winning novels MY OLD FAITHFUL and LIVING TREASURES. Books available to purchase after the book talk. The program is to be conducted in English and Chinese.
