Photographer and curator Jeannie O'Connor shares about her process and discoveries made in creating portraits at four Centers for AIDS services in San Francisco, Oakland and Richmond from 1989-1995. Exhibition AIDS Portraits by Jeannie O'Connor is on display on two floors in the Main Library: San Francisco History Center Exhibit Space, 6th floor and James C. Hormel LGBTQIA Center, 3rd floor.
Talk and reception presented by the San Francisco History Center and James C. Hormel LGBTQIA Center. Reception to follow gallery talk. Printed exhibition catalog will be presented at the reception.
Exhibition closes on February 29, 2024.
