A monthly discussion on crime novels featuring sleuths, quirky supporting characters and homey communities. This month's novel, Auntie Poldi and the Sicilian Lions by Mario Giordano, introduces Auntie Poldi who is a Bavarian widow newly retired in Sicily. Instead of spending the rest of her days enjoying the tranquil island, something always gets in the way of her relaxation. When her handsome young handyman goes missing—and is discovered murdered—she can't help but ask questions.
