Rachel Brahinsky, Professor of Politics and Urban Studies at the University of San Francisco, discusses a 1960s-70s activist group known in the Bayview-Hunters Point as "The Big Five" as an entry point to look at historical layers of advocacy and community change.
Bayview-Hunters Point has a long and important history of community activism and social struggle.
