An immigrant tale that should be seen by everyone.
Based on Dr. Francisco Jiménez's beloved memoirs, The Circuit and Breaking Through, the award-winning film The Unbroken Sky dramatizes the true story of a Mexican family’s journey — one of faith, hope, backbreaking work and an unrelenting determination to realize the universal dream of a better life.
Concluding the film, Dr. Jiménez will join producers Normandie Ramírez and Robin Mortarotti for a brief presentation and discussion, moderated by SFPL Latinx Program Manager, Francisco Cardona. Question and answer session will follow the conversation.
