Workshop: Shine a Light | San Francisco Public Library

Explore industrial design this summer through hands-on workshops, prototype building, and a citywide design competition. High school students will develop creative and professional skills at The Mix at the Main Library, culminating in a final showcase at the Asian Art Museum judged by design professionals. Top prizes: $500, $300, and $200. June 13–August 2. Saturday afternoons and select Wednesday evenings. Space limited. Reservations required.

Make + Do

Find inspiration through craft programs featuring talented artists, makers and even your local librarians. For craft programs, all materials are provided, unless noted.

Science

Gain a new perspective on and understanding of the world through programs on the sciences.
