12:00 - 1:30
Learn practical, affordable strategies for creating an inclusive, disability-friendly small business environment.
Creating an inclusive business doesn’t have to be expensive or overwhelming. With 28% of Americans living with some form of disability*, accessibility is both a community value and a smart business decision.
This program features a panel of people with disabilities sharing real-world perspectives on how businesses can better welcome and serve a wide range of customers. Panelists speak to experiences related to mobility, Deaf and hard-of-hearing access, blindness and low vision and neurodiversity, offering insight into how small, thoughtful changes can influence where people choose to shop and dine.
Hosted by the Office of Disability and Accessibility and the Office of Small Business, in partnership with the San Francisco Public Library.
