Learn about the Medi-Cal renewal process, understand upcoming changes, and access resources and assistance to maintain healthcare coverage.

Many people enrolled in Medi-Cal have questions about upcoming renewals and how changes affect their healthcare coverage.

This informational session covers:

  • What to expect during the Medi-Cal renewal process
  • Important Medi-Cal renewal (redetermination) updates for 2026 and 2027
  • What notices participants receive and what they mean
  • Steps participants take to ensure participants get important updates
  • Where participants find help with renewal paperwork and notices
  • Where participants can get support

Experts from the San Francisco Health Plan (SFHP) and Richmond Area Multi Services (RAMS) answer questions, help participants understand their benefits, and provide application assistance when needed.

The presentation takes place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, followed by resource tabling.

Presented by the San Francisco Behavioral Health Client Council. The San Francisco Behavioral Health Client Council supports the well-being of San Francisco residents who live with mental health and/or substance use challenges and receive services through San Francisco Behavioral Health Services (SF-BHS).

We'd like to thank our partners: The San Francisco Health Plan (SFHP) and Richmond Area Multi Services (RAMS) for their support.
