Learn to draw with thread, creating an original work of art. Nichole Talbott of Asé Arts will guide attendees through several classic hand embroidery techniques with tips and tricks on how to achieve your desired design.
Embroidery is a great way to develop your creativity in new and uncharted ways. The tactile, meditative and repetitive practice of stitching rewires neurons and establishes fresh creative pathways. No prior experience is required. This is a beginner-level workshop, but open to more advanced embroiderers who want to tap into the centering practice of embroidery.
All materials needed for the workshop will be provided.
Space limited. Reservations required: (415) 355-5656 (starting July 11).
