René Peña-Govea will lead a journal writing workshop for teens that will help them develop their personal stories. Rene Pena-Govea is a San Francisco native, educator, YA author and community ambassador and leads her musical family band, La Familia Peña-Govea that has performed for countless Bay Area residents. She recently published her first YA novel, Estela Undrowning. For the workshop, writing journals will be provided.

For 6th–12th graders. Space limited. Reservations required: 415-355-2868
