Young Leaders in Climate Action’s summer workshops are designed for rising 6th–8th graders in the Bay Area with interests in environmental issues, science, and youth advocacy.
These hands-on, youth-led workshops combine environmental education with real-world impact. Participants explore topics such as climate justice, environmental science, engineering, and sustainability at both global and local levels. Each participant then develops a community-focused project and receives feedback from environmental professionals representing fields including policy, advocacy, and education.
