An inspiring afternoon with Khariyyah Shabazz and host Chablis at a special book signing event to celebrate Resilient Voices, a powerful guide to community engagement and advocacy. Meet the author, hear insights on making a difference and get your copy signed. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect and spark change!

Resilient Voices: A Compilation of Inspiring Quotes, Best Practices, and Community Voices is a compelling book that gathers wisdom and insights from a diverse group of community leaders. The book features inspirational quotes from Shabazz's speeches and interviews conducted with prominent figures such as housing rights activist Bee Coleman, food security advocate Ttori Johnson, environmental equity activist Keta Price and criminal justice reform advocate Tanisha Cannon. Through these interviews, readers are exposed to discussions on legacy, the life's work of these activists and practical solutions aimed at bringing equity to marginalized communities. The book encourages readers to draw strength from the resilience and determination of these exemplary leaders, illustrating how personal stories can drive collective change and foster a more equitable society.

Khariyyah Shabazz, a proud East Oakland native, has dedicated 16 years to youth development, environmental justice and community engagement.
