2:15 - 3:00
This presentation will introduce federal government records held at the National Archives and Records Administration, and show you some of the great family history resources on the National Archives website. We'll explore the online catalog and learn how to make connections between the catalog with what's online at Ancestry, FamilySearch, and elsewhere.
Marisa Lee works for San Francisco Public Library at the Bernal Heights Branch. Outside of the library, Marisa is a researcher and workshop speaker. She has previously worked for the National Archives at San Francisco and the Chinese Historical Society of America. Marisa is a proud alumna of the “Friends of Roots” program and loves sharing family history with her children.
This program is part of the Genealogy and Family History Symposium 2026, a two-day conference presented by the San Francisco Public Library (SFPL) and the California Genealogical Society (CGS), featuring speakers from SFPL, CGS, the Oakland FamilySearch Center, SFgenealogy and other organizations presenting on a wide range of topics.
