1:30 - 3:30
Nourish your spirit and strengthen community ties in a gentle and uplifting Juneteenth gathering. The event will feature an Afrocentric healing circle and a jewelry beading activity that draws inspiration from African traditions of adornment and storytelling, led by master beader Ylonda Calloway. Together, we will create meaningful bracelets that reflect resilience, self-love and connection. This experience offers a chance to slow down, reflect, and build something beautiful—both in our hands and in our hearts. As hands move with intention, the quiet act of threading beads becomes a meditative practice rooted in culture and community. Together we heal. Refreshments will be provided.
