4:00 - 7:00
This activity has been rescheduled from August 29.
Reflect on what you learned during Summer Stride by making a zine.
We know you worked hard reading and learning to earn your 2024 Summer Stride tote bag. At this drop-in activity, you’ll have a couple of opportunities to share what you learned through a hand-made zine:
- Create an 8.5” x 5.5” page to contribute to the SFPL Summer Stride Anthology Zine, and/or
- Make your own 8-page zine out of a single sheet of paper.
Respond to the prompt, “What I learned doing Summer Stride” in your zine.
Zine supplies like paper, collage ephemera, markers, stickers, stamps and scissors will be provided, in addition to instructions on how to create an 8-page zine out of a single sheet of paper. You are welcome to bring your favorite zine supplies as well.
Following the activity, a copy of the Summer Stride Anthology Zine will be mailed to all participants who contributed.
This activity is led by a Magazines and Newspapers Center librarian.
