Founded in 2004 by the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, San Francisco Small Business Week celebrates the entrepreneurs who power our city’s economy and culture. This week-long initiative offers workshops, networking opportunities and events designed to help local businesses connect and grow. The San Francisco Public Library is proud to contribute a series of programs that support entrepreneurs through practical learning, peer exchange and community-building. This year’s theme, Scaling Bridges, highlights how small businesses grow by looking beyond their immediate surroundings—building connections across neighborhoods and communities to expand reach, attract new customers and create lasting impact.
Small Business Week is a partnership with the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, City College of San Francisco, Office of Disability and Accessibility, San Francisco African American Chamber of Commerce, San Francisco International Airport, San Francisco Office of Small Business, San Francisco Small Business Development Center, SF Environment and Shop Dine SF.
