We will discuss retirement planning over time and what steps to consider as retirement gets closer. Topics will include:
- asset allocation over time
- when to consider asset allocation changes
- the time horizon in retirement
Teachers:
Craig Braemer has been investing for about 40 years and joined San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of BetterInvesting in 1992. His current Chapter position is President. Braemer has developed and taught a number of classes for his local chapter and started his first club in 1987. He is semi-retired and works in the financial services industry and has several designations including the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and the Certified Financial Planning designation (CFP®). His primary interest outside of investing includes going to SF Giants baseball games, Disneyland, traveling and playing soccer.
Jim Willcox is a retired attorney and long-time investor. He has been a member of Better Investing and Model Club member since 2011, serving in various Model Club Officer positions and is currently Treasurer. He has also been a member of the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Chapter of Better Investing for eight years. His other interests include gardening, cooking and model trains (HO Scale), where he is on the Board of Directors for the Carquinez Model Railroad Society.
