In this six-week workshop, developed by the Self-Management Resource Center (SMRC) from Stanford University School of Medicine, participants will learn self-management skills for older adults to cope with chronic diseases such as arthritis, hypertension, diabetes, and others. You will build self-efficacy while learning tools, non-medical in nature, ranging from setting goals, problem-solving, mind-body techniques, better breathing, healthy eating, physical activity, and better communication.
