6:00 - 7:00
Join this interactive workshop and introduce yourself to the cultural traditions of the Dragon Boat Festival (端午節) through Chinese calligraphy and hands-on crafts. Participants will learn the meaning of the festival and its connections to health, protection, and well-being while practicing basic Chinese brush techniques. Each participant will create a finished keepsake: a decorated palm fan featuring the character “安康” (health and well-being), combined with a peach wood bell and a fragrant sachet, assembled into a festive Dragon Boat Festival hanging ornament.
Space limited. Reservations required: (415) 355-2858.
