Celebrate Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander Heritage Month with a sampling of a sweet sesame ball dessert. Fried sesame balls are crisp, golden pastries made from glutinous rice flour and coated in fragrant sesame seeds. Their hollow, airy center and lightly sweet red bean or lotus paste filling create a delightful contrast of textures. In Chinese culture, their perfectly round shape symbolizes wholeness, harmony and good fortune. They are a very popular treat during festivals and celebrations. Food is limited. First come, first served. For ages 10–18.
