Our partners at TendWell Collective guide us in a gentle and accessible movement class.
Treina Alexander began practicing yoga 17 years as a way to heal her body from injury and her mind from grief. After experiencing joy in her own body, she decided to start teaching to help others find healing for their bodies. Alexander offers alignment cues and options to her classes. She encourages her students to find their practice through breath and focus.
This class includes:
- A grounding meditation to arrive
- A brief Introduction from TendWell about the organization and their values
- An accessible Mindful Movement practice which may include yoga, pilates or dance
- Close with questions and community conversation (participation optional)
