San Francisco, CA – Internationally renowned writer, poet and activist Alice Walker and Dr. Sheryl Davis, Executive Director of San Francisco Human Rights Commission, come together on October 21 for an exciting virtual discussion of Sweet People Are Everywhere, Walker’s new illustrated children’s book featuring her eloquent poem of the same title celebrating community, humanity and globalism.

San Francisco – On October 20, San Francisco Public Library hosts award-winning writer Mattilda Bernstein Sycamore in a panel discussing her new anthology, Between Certain Death and a Possible Future: Queer Writing on Growing up with the AIDS Crisis, alongside contributors Robert Birch, Keiko Lane, Aaron Nielsen and Andrew R. Spieldenner.
