黄偉江先生曾在中國《羊城晚報》任職十三年,親臨多場重大事件的第一線;其後在美國《星島日報》深耕二十載,紀錄華人移民的悲歡離合。他以鏡頭與文字,見證兩種制度下迥然不同的新聞現實,也捕捉人性最深的溫度。本次講座將帶領您走入一位資深新聞人的真實心路——從中國的抗洪救災、非典疫情,到舊金山華埠的製衣廠、散房家庭與移民夢想。對他而言,新聞即生命;以影像與報導串聯起東西方兩個世界的故事,見證時代,照見人心。活動後將提供點心和茶水。
本講座將以國語進行。

David Huang has over thirty years of journalism experience, having spent thirteen years at Yangcheng Evening News in China and twenty years at Sing Tao Daily in the US. He has documented significant events and the experiences of Chinese immigrant communities through photojournalism. In his talk he will share his journey from covering major events like flood relief and SARS in China to life in San Francisco's Chinatown, emphasizing journalism as a means to connect the East and West through storytelling.
This program will be conducted in Mandarin, and it is in partnership with Chinese Historical Society of America.
