Learn the basics of collaging, image transferring techniques, and more as you create a personalized mail art with Sedey Gebreyes of the Museum of the African Diaspora. You do not have to possess any artistic skills to participate. Ideal for kids 5 and older and open to participants of all ages.
This workshop is ideal for ages 5 and up, and you do not have to possess any artistic skills to participate!
For the workshop you will need
• Clear tape, preferably packing tape;
• Brown paper bag/ grocery bag;
• Pages from magazines, newspapers, or any print media;
• Scissors;
• Any absorbent cloth or paper towel;
• A cup of water at room temperature;
• A large bowl;
• Liquid soap;
• Cutting board;
• Optional: Tablespoon
