Join the Library for Free Comic Book Day

Celebrate Free Comic Book Day with San Francisco Public Library! Free Comic Book Day occurs each year on the first Saturday in May, where the comic book industry comes together and gives away free comic books. Comic books are a wonderful way to turn reluctant readers into lifelong readers with their short stories and engaging images.

With our partnership with Comix Experience, SFPL will provide free comic books and graphic novels for youth at all library locations, while supplies last.

When: Saturday, May 4, 2024, during regular Library open hours

Where: All SFPL locations
