The Mix Group Visit Request Form

The Mix accepts group visit requests for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday between 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. To request a Friday visit, please email themix@sfpl.org with your request details. All class visits are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, and are subject to library staff availability.

Please keep in mind that visits to The Mix should be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance. A staff member will reach out to you within 5 business days.

Note: This form is for schools and organizations interested in visiting The Mix at San Francisco Public Library's Main location at 100 Larkin. To schedule a visit at a branch library, please contact the branch you would like to visit.

Does Your Group Need Library Cards?
If members of your group do not have library cards, we can arrange to create them ahead of time. You can obtain library card applications here. Please allow two days for processing.
Please check any activities that you are interested in participating in during your visit. We will try to accommodate as many as possible based on staffing and group size.
Keep in mind that the Mix has many self-led activities like button making, puzzles, board games, public computers, media creation stations, art space and gaming (PS5, Switch, VR).
