The SFPL Book Stop is an automated book kiosk at Island Cove Market. The kiosk is available for use during market hours.
Need a library card? Treasure Island residents can sign up here and a card will be mailed to your home.
The Kiosk is Easy to Use
- Scan your card.
- Type in your PIN.
- Open the door.
- Take your books—they're automatically checked out when you close the door!
- Return to the SFPL Book Stop (ideal!) or any other SFPL location.

Bookmobile Service
Visit the bookmobile on Treasure Island to browse, sign up for a library card, pick up the bookmobile Explorer Map sticker and get help from librarians.
When: Wednesdays, 2–6 p.m.
