Join us for a conversation with Jorge Cuéllar, Assistant Professor of Latin American, Latino & Caribbean Studies at Dartmouth College, who will offer a virtual talk on water issues in contemporary Central America. This will be followed by a discussion with International Center librarian Xima Avalos and UC Berkeley's librarian for Caribbean, Latin American Studies and Latinx Collections, Dr. Liladhar R. Pendse. As a Central Americanist, Cuéllar’s work addresses the politics, culture, and the history of the isthmus and its diasporas.
