Growing roses in the West Portal, Parkside, Forest Hill and St. Francis Woods neighborhoods can be done very successfully. In this presentation you'll learn how to choose and care for roses which will thrive in this unique microclimate, which can occasionally be foggy, windy and cold. You'll learn which roses to plant, the best placement for roses in your garden, routine care and how to troubleshoot and treat problems or disease should they arise. You'll also receive suggestions for companion plants for your roses.
