Learn about the different types of identity theft as well as proven steps you can take to minimize its impact in this live Virtual Library program being streamed on the Excelsior Branch Library's big screen. If you’re a victim of identity theft or just want to stay prepared, this workshop is a must.

Staff will be on hand to assist with participating and submitting your questions. This is a great way to learn about the library's many virtual programs.

The San Francisco Financial Empowerment Center provides free, confidential, one-on-one, personalized financial guidance with a certified financial counselor. This program is open to anyone living, working or receiving services in San Francisco (including noncitizens). Financial counselors provide sessions on the following financial topics: improving your credit score, increasing your savings, opening a safe and affordable bank account, assessing your public benefits options, navigating any changes in your income, communicating with loan servicers and debt collectors, managing and reducing debt and learning more about your consumer rights.
