Did you know that California has not lost a House of Representatives seat since 1850? If Californians don't participate in the decennial census, which starts in January 2020, it is possible that California may lose federal representation in the House - for the first time in 170 years!

Application will be available at the Richmond Branch Library every Saturaday from 1:00–5:00 p.m., Sunday from 1:00–5:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 3:00–7:00, through mid-March.

This is a Census 2020 program from SFPL. This series offers assistance and information to help assure a complete count in the 2020 Census. A complete count is essential; the Census determines the number of seats we have in the U.S. House of Representatives and is used to distribute billions of dollars in federal funds to state and local governments.
