The Social Justice Book Club discusses Jacob Soboroff’s Separated: Inside an American Tragedy. Soboroff was one of the first journalists to see firsthand the living conditions of children in custody under the Trump administration’s separation of thousands of migrant families at the US-Mexico Border. He spent two years reporting on this complex story for his book.

The Social Justice Book Club focuses on understanding and working toward ending systemic racism and inequity.

Read, discuss ideas and connect through the many book clubs hosted by SFPL.
