Renowned San Francisco Chronicle film critic Mick LaSalle will discuss his new book, Dream State: California in the Movies

Dream State is a bold dissection of the California dream and how it shaped the modern world. Using films such as The Wizard of Oz and La La Land, LaSalle, with his unmistakable contrarian humor, he takes us on a freewheeling journey through big-screen visions of the Golden State.
