Our 2021 YELL Teen Intern Maria, shares facts, research and an Ohlone game during a walk throughout her favorite San Francisco nature spots. For kids and their families.

Teen Intern Maria participated in the Youth Engaged in Library Leadership (YELL) 2021 summer internship program as a member of the STEM & Nature Cohort. The STEM & Nature cohort use STEM to explore different aspects of the urban nature spaces in their community and connected them to topics like sustainability, community gardens and nature walks. She loves being outdoors with her family, friends and pets.
