Renda Dabit with Henna Garden Events shares the history and culture of henna. Participants learn the basic skills of henna and receive their own henna cone to practice on themselves, in addition to getting a small design during the program.

Find inspiration through craft programs featuring talented artists, makers and even your local librarians. For craft programs, all materials are provided, unless noted.

SWANA Interest

This program honors the diverse cultures, traditions and histories of Southwest Asian and North African heritage.

BIPOC Interest

Attend programming, lectures and workshops intended for the BIPOC community.

This program is sponsored by Friends of the San Francisco Public Library.
